Thanks for your book, well worth waiting for !! On your Website list, we used Oneswoop.com to buy a new Golf last year. and found them very good. Choicestationery is where I get all my compatible inkjets for my HP printer at a considerable saving. Thanks a lot. R

Having just viewed your site, after being recommended to me by a friend, I must say that I was amazed not only with the contents but by the clarity of the whole site - very refreshing. I would be very interested in purchasing a copy of your 'Hints and Tips for Silver Surfers' when you produce an update. If the contents are anything like your web site then I look forward to reading it.

I installed AVG anti virus as you suggested.  It found I had the Bugbear virus.  I then went to your on-site Virus page and downloaded the fix.  That cleared it. Thanks a lot.

I have never had so much pleasure from a Computer Book, or even understood, as I have from Silver Surfers. Well done.

Liked your Site. Full of useful information.  Bruce. (Bruce is a Senior IT Consultant of a well known American computer company).  Now that's what I call a compliment !  KP

I received your booklet today and can't put it down. It's really interesting and I'm sure I'll learn a lot from it. Good luck with your sales.

Received your book this morning and while I have not had time to read it fully I like the content, and best of all it is in a language that I can understand.

I thought that you would be interested to know that G was very impressed with the book and wishes that you had written it long ago as it would have helped him over lots of early problems as well as adding to his knowledge now. Full marks and more notches for your computer.

Thank you for the book. It really is a most useful publication. I have already replaced one defective file using the System File Checker.

Received your booklet yesterday and spent a few hours reading it in the garden today.A real work of art and a real credit to you, I realise a lot of time was spent in the preparation and compilation but you must be pleased with the finished article, I know I am and it will be a tremendous asset as it is a mine of information.

You have broken the first rule of computing - yes, your book is (dare I say it?) intelligible. This break with the gobbledygook tradition will make you a marked man from now on. I am recommending you for an award from the Plain English Society. (And he did !)

I said that I was going to browse through your booklet, but I read right through it in one go. Well done

Hi Keith, received the book today and it came in handy immediately! I could not get either of my ISP's past "starting aol" etc. so I followed your advice to use Sys File Checker, and it worked! A setup dll file was damaged, so thank you very much. Never tried this b4.

Thank you for sending a copy of your opus. It is excellent and I only wish that the hints and tips you have covered were available when I first started using a PC. The most valuable aspect is that you recognise the need for Surfing Seniors to have a guide that they can use without being mesmerised in the first sentence by a mass (mess?) of technical jargon. My browsing and general use of the Internet is already much improved.

Since I received your book earlier this week I have been reading and trying your suggestions. It is amazing the things that I have picked up. I congratulate you on producing easy to read instructions and tips. I shall recommend it to all my friends.

Thanks for the book. There is so much info and I think it was £5:50 well spent. In the TIME computer manual there is hardly a fraction of your info. They should consult you so their user manuals are better but their excuse is that you have windows help files "So get on with it", whereas your book is great.

Many thanks for sending me my personally signed edition of your book. I have found many interesting things that I want to try out and I have not read it all yet.

Many thanks for the book and congratulations on the content. I had forgotten how useful Right-Click and Delete can be in tidying up the screen! I look forward to working through the information

Just to say your book Hints and Tips has been very useful. The sections on Outlook Express and Internet Explorer were of great assistance in passing module 7 to complete the ECDL exam. Thanks.

BRILL Book! Wednesday is my blitz day on the housework and I haven't done a thing. Opened it to have a quick look, 3 hours and many cups of coffee later the mists were clearing and everything I was finding a problem started to slot into place.
